Sophia & Stanley

Sophia & Flat Stanley on PhotoPeach
We took Stanley to our school's Family Fun Night. He got to have his picture taken with her sisters and her older sister's friend. Stanley loved his little pancake for Saturday morning breakfast. He even got a small fork just for him.

Stanley got to a picture with Sophia at the Robbie Burns night. He loved the food. At the the Robbie Burns night Stanley even got to wear his own kilt. He got to have his picture taken with the Grande Prairie Pipe Band. Sophia's dad is standing behind her. He was a very good listener when the speeches were going on. He liked having his picture taken with the beautiful Highland Dancers.

He tried the Haggis and he loved it. We've had so much snow that Stanley was able to climb to the top of a huge snow pile. Etta and Sabina liked Stanley so much they wanted to have their picture taken with him. He was made to feel welcome because Sophia made him his very own bed. He is likely to want to return. He found so many friends this weekend that he wanted to stay. The owl was his very best friend.

Sophia's favourite part was having Stanley with her at the Robbie Burns Festival.

Hannah & Flat Stanley

Hannah had Flat Stanley last weekend (Jan. 7, 8, 9th). The whole family went to watch Hannah's brother, Jordan play hockey. Sunday morning Stanley got to make his own little pancake. He thought it was delicious! Stanley got to go snowmobiling, snowshoeing and he made a snow angel.
Weezy and Stanley got along very well. In fact they became such good friends that Weezy took Stanley for a ride on his back. If you didn't know who Weezy was, it's Hannah's cat. We named him Weezy because he likes to eat Cheezies. They also went to the pet store but didn't take Stanley inside because they were afraid of having him eaten by a dog.
Stanley got to go to Hannah's church, St. Joseph's Church and he was happy to go to Sunday School with Hannah. He got to go and praise God.
Hannah's mom loves to bake, Stanley got to help make Apple Bread. Hannah says, "It tastes like apples mixed in with Banana Bread." At the end of day, Hannah read Stanley her humungous cat book she got for Christmas. We didn't show Stanley a picture because we were afraid he would get scared. The picture was of a cat with no fur and big teeth, it kind of looked like an alley cat. Hannah really enjoyed having Stanley. She thought he loved the Weezback ride on Weez.

Camron & Flat Stanley

Camron & Flat Stanley on PhotoPeach

Camron took a picture of Flat Stanley and his brother beside their Christmas tree. Stanley thought the tree was beautiful. Camron and Stanley watched “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Stanley thought it was a great show, his favourite character was the Grinch because he was so grinch-like. The two of them also waited outside for Camron’s bus to come. They didn’t have to wait too long. It’s a good thing because it’s cold up in Alberta this time of the year. Stanley and Camron rode the bus for about 30 minutes. Camron’s favourite part about having Stanley come to his house was taking the pictures.

Back to School

Welcome back boys and girls. I hope you've had a fabulous break? I know I've sure enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and even getting out and tobogganing and snowshoeing. It sure has been nice to have 2 weeks off.
I'm also getting excited to start back to school. I've got a whole bunch of new and exciting projects for us to work on. You will really like the next investigation. I'm going to give you a small hint with a picture but I'm not going to say anymore until you see me at school on Monday.
Get some sleep tonight because it's going to be a long week.
